Bhutan Tour

This small, Buddhist Kingdom in the Himalayas was voted one of the Lonely Planets “Best in Travel: Top 10 Countries – 2012”. Bhutan is famous for its well preserved Tibetan style culture, mountain views, amazing trekking and harmonious society.
Sitting high in the Himalayas, the country is ruled by Buddhist philosophy and values ‘Gross National Happiness’ over financial wealth. Famously rejecting modernity and outside influences, it’ is one of Asia’s last monarchies. Technology has been speedily embraced since the introduction of TV and internet in 1999. Finding a fellow traveller who has visited the Bhutan is a rare occurrence. You need to pay US$200 a day to stay in the country and trips must be organiszed through government recognised agencies. However, the rewards for navigating these restrictions are large. The Bhutanese are very warm, hospitable people and their culture and environment remain incredibly unspoiled. You will also be one of the few travellers who can claim to have visited this elusive destination.
