Equipment Checklist/Hiking Gear

Some people choose to bring their own equipment for trekking. Other people don’t wish to carry around or spend money on things they may only use once. For the latter we recommend renting equipment from L.N. Treks. We supply many essential items including: sleeping bags, down jackets, trekking poles and other accessories. We would suggest that trekkers may need the following:

quick drying towel
water purification eg., iodine or filter
laundry soap
sunscreen
Lip balm
polarizing sunglasses

Anti-cold,
flu and cough medicines
diarrhoea medicines
Paracetamol
anti-inflammatories e.g. ibuprofen
antibiotic
